Single Review: Walking on the Moon by Edd Ward

Hailing all the way from Munich, Germany, singer-songwriter Edd Ward creates tunes that are making waves all the way across the world. Doing it all on his own, he is upbeat, energetic, and creates music brimming with all the good things in the world. With an infectious energy that he easily converts into lyrics and catchy chords and refrains, Edd Ward is on the rise.

With an ever growing discography of hits including “Criminality,” “I’m Not Like the Other Ones,” and more, Edd Ward is quickly gaining traction and attention in Germany and beyond. Adding to his collection with new single “Walking on the Moon,” Ward has simply done it again. Specializing in a rap and rock influenced commercial pop sound, Ward created the track sans cussing, including “just pure love and addiction to somebody.”

Latest track, “Walking on the Moon,” is a perfect example of the sound he works hard to achieve. Featuring eclectic melodies and a chorus that is sure to be stuck in your head for days to come, the track is an ode to an addictive love.

During the creation of the track, Ward experienced an influx of emotions. “I cried a few times recording this song cuz I had no idea how to finish this song, but thx God I found the way to perfection,” the artist shares.

Although breaking through the sound in a world filled with aspiring artists is difficult, Ward is confident in his brand and in his sound and works hard towards making those dreams a reality. “We all are gonna die someday, so don't lose your time, make your dreams come true and leave something behind you,” Ward states. Creating the track in his home studio, Edd Ward continues to strive towards his dream. Doing everything from songwriting, singing, to audio engineering, Ward is innovative, hard working, creative, and passionate to say the least.
