White Novels are fresh-faced and ready to take on the Scottish music scene one song at a time. The brilliant five-piece has truly hit the ground running after releasing their first single “On The Bottle” back in 2020. With artistic influences reminiscent of Depeche Mode and Simple Minds, White Novels are making a name for themselves in the new world of feel-good rock ‘n’ roll.
After falling in love with the music creation process during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, White Novels band members Jack, Tam, Lewis, Angus, and Chris were given the astounding opportunity to play a live charity show in October 2020 alongside legendary acts like The Snuts, Lewis Capaldi, and Retro Video Club. Since then, the band has proven they are a force to be reckoned with in the world of up-and-coming rock artists.

Riding off the success of recent singles “Closer To You” and “Over Again”, White Novels bring a refreshing edge to the typical indie rock heartbreak song. Pulling inspiration from a real-life, long distance love triangle, “California” effortlessly combines wistful, dreamy west coast longing with brutal, guitar riff-realities. White Novels don’t hold back as they channel those deep cut feelings of betrayal into their explosive new track.
It’s hard to ignore the impending success of this Scottish rock five-piece. With only a few singles put out in the world, White Novels have already challenged the usual rock band agenda, bringing a fresh perspective to loss, heartbreak, and relentless honesty.
