Single Review: Arkansas by The Trusted

With poetic lyrics and incredible soundscapes, The Trusted has is back with their most recent single “Arkansas”. 

After The Trusted released their incredible single “Millennium”, we immediately put them on our radar. Composed of band members Tom Cunningham, Dale Holt Mead, Finlay Cunningham, and David Batchelor, the band specializes in unreal lyricism and chill-inducing builds. “Arkansas” is no different. 

Telling the story of nostalgia and lost innocence, the lyrics in this piece are poignant and profound. The Trusted sings, “You were beautiful before the brawl, Now we’re stuck behind tender walls, We could crawl to Arkansas, I heard it’s really beautiful”. The build makes the song addicting, leaving you feeling changed after listening. 

“Arkansas” by The Trusted needs to be one of your new favorite songs. If you don’t already have the rising band on your radar, you need to put them there because their inevitable success is coming.
