EP Review: Without A Note by Mia Giovina

Mia Giovina’s EP, Without A Note is a angelically beautiful collection that navigates through themes of self-reflection, change, and heartbreak. There is a delicate balance of her sweet voice and these heartbreaking topics running throughout the EP, keeping listeners engaged in the push and pull of her lyricism. Since Mia Giovina got her start with 2021 single “Sirens”, she quickly dove headfirst into her career and began making focal tracks that would soon turn into her debut EP. Through these five tracks — “Deathbed," “Fair," “Porch Light," “Losing time," and the titular track “Without A Note”, Giovina makes her place in the music industry known.
The EP opens with “Deathbed”, a poignant and immersive track that sets the introspective tone of the entire EP. Her ethereal vocals blend with haunting instrumentals and deep lyrics to create a picture of vulnerability and raw emotion.
